Mystery & Thriller Books Coming This February
The year has started off strong with the release of books like The Maid and Anthem. February is no different. From spins on a classic detective novel in The Goodbye Coast to stories from our favorite authors, February has a lot to offer and we are excited to delve in. What are you reading this month?
The seductive and relentless figure of Raymond Chandler’s detective, Philip Marlowe, is vividly re-imagined in present-day Los Angeles. Here is a city of scheming Malibu actresses, ruthless gang members, virulent inequality, and washed-out police. The longer Ben stays missing, the more Jess starts to dig into her brother’s situation, and the more questions she has. Ben’s neighbors are an eclectic bunch, and not particularly friendly. Jess may have come to Paris to escape her past, but it’s starting to look like it’s Ben’s future that’s in question.
