Multicultural Crime Fiction Books We’re Excited to Read This Year
If you thought publishing leaned toward thriller books by cishet white authors, you were right. If you would like to read mysteries by more diverse authors but just can’t seem to find what you’re looking for, then you’ve come to the right place. These are just some of the crime fiction books by multicultural authors bringing representation to the mystery & thriller genre that we’re excited to read this year.
It’s Independence Day, and while the fireworks celebrate America, an oil rig explodes in an alleged act of Terrorism. Six Muslim teens are the ones accused for sinking the ship. Rather than a search for the truth, the kids are caught up in a political game that pits them against each other in order to earn back the freedom to which they are entitled.
