Throughout the year, Novel Suspects reads comprehensively across the crime fiction genre—from debut novels to obscure fiction, genre-bending tales of murder and mayhem, and our tired and true favorites. This year, there are dozens of books we loved, but the following list features the ones we couldn’t tear our eyes away from. The ones we want to pick up again. The ones we want to shout from rooftops about. Here are our fifteen highest-recommended mysteries and thrillers of 2024.
